Conscious consumers, here's yet another way to exercise your spending power for good. L.A.-based brand The Cause Collection is going from online to IRL with its first-ever brick-and-mortar shop on buzzing West Third Street.
The 900-square-foot space soft-opened in early August across from chic hair salon Spoke & Weal and grand opening festivities are slated for October. (Mark your cal!) The boutique stocks the brand's full collection of responsibly-made womenswear ($88 to $579), such as effortless silk tops, elevated boxy cotton tees, dreamy floral maxi dresses, dressy track pants, and more pieces that go seamlessly from the office to dinner dates. Even cooler: The brand donates $10 from each sale to a revolving roster of charities; currently, shoppers can choose to contribute to ACLU, GLSEN, or Healthy Housing Foundations.
"When I first experienced the location, I immediately felt the upbeat vibe and energy coming from West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, La Brea and all the surrounding corridors," founder and New York Times bestselling author Cheryl Najafi tells UncoverLA. "West 3rd Street is in the soul of L.A. with major intersections at each end that help us serve a greater L.A. customer. We think it's a perfect fit for our vibe."
Here's another way that the brand makes a difference with your dollars beyond donations powered by retail therapy. Every quarter, the company contributes to a variety of nonprofit organizations that focus on tolerance, humanitarianism, and social justice.
The brand plans on using its new L.A. store to host events, panel discussions, and other happenings to bring awareness to their mindful missions; stay tuned for more, and take a peek inside the chic shop and scroll through the gallery above.
