One of L.A.'s edgiest high-end havens for design, furniture, and decor just got a major upgrade. Luxury wonderland Just One Eye — the vision of former Maxfield fashion director Paola Russo — has more than doubled in size at its new digs, which opened at the end of October around the corner from its previous location in Hollywood. (The retailer first debuted in 2011 in Howard Hughes' former L.A. office in a dreamy Art Deco building.)

Now spanning 13,000 square feet, the stunning gallery-like space welcomes shoppers with a crushed automobile sculpture made of chromium-plated stainless steel by artist John Chamberlain. On the walls, there are large-scale works by Damien Hirst (remember his budget-busting backpack collab with The Row?), including as a four-panel cherry blossom painting; a massive Andy Warhol painting inspired by Rorschach ink blots; and Gary Lang's mesmerizing Tondo optical paintings. Of course, the space wouldn't be complete without its famous Takashi Murakami pieces, such as the life-sized Nurse KO2 sculpture.

As far as fashion, expect to find womenswear, menswear, and accessories from Gucci, Chloé, Missoni, Paco Rabanne, Alexandre Vaulthier, The Row, Versace, Wales Bonner, Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, Sage Hollywood, Y/Project, and Triple RRR; to name a few. Also on offer are footwear by Christian Louboutin, Amina Muaddi, Olivier Theyskens, and Yeezy; fine jewelry and bags by Anita Ko, Stephen Webster, Shay, Heliopolis, Waiwai, and Carolina Santo Domingo; home decor and tabletop goods by St. Louis, Hermès, and Puiforcat; and vintage and antique furnishings.

There's something for bloom lovers and beauty buffs, too. Fashionable L.A. florist and fragrance maker Eric Buterbaugh's chic arrangements and eau de parfums are also stocked there, and celebrity hairstylist Jorge Serrano has taken over a corner for his namesake salon, which VIP clients can enter via a paparazzi-proof rear entrance (all the better for clients like Kris Jenner, Dakota Johnson, and Kate Beckinsale). The six-station hair studio offers cuts ($175 for men, $350 for women), color ($75 for gloss, $150 and up for base color, $250 and up for highlights), styling ($100 to $200), and scalp spa services.

Shoppers can also indulge in manicures, car washes, and lunch delivery from foodie favorite Tartine. Superstar stylists can also pamper their awards season clients at the store, which will offer full red carpet services such as hair and makeup, and gown and accessories pulls.

There are plenty of swanky events on the calendar, too. Just One Eye will host an open-to-the-public exhibit of artist Arielle Pytka on Thursday, Dec. 12, and the space will also be used for galas, performances, private dinners, and more.
