There's clearly something in the ocean air that inspires online brands to stake out brick-and-mortar spots by the sea. Joining a slew of cool Millennial-loved companies on Abbot Kinney is sleek travel brand Away, which is opening its second L.A. outpost on the stylish Venice stretch.
A trusted source tells us that the store is slated to open "at the end of April." The direct-to-consumer company is taking over the space previously occupied by Levi's and Junk Food Clothing's concept space, Tees + Jeans, located next door to Blue Bottle and just around the corner from Everlane. Once open, expect the shop to stock Away's full range of tech-charging rolling luggage ($195 to $595), carryalls, and travel accessories alongside jet-setting essentials from friends of the brand.
