Shop & Dine for a Good Cause during CHLA's Make March Matter Campaign

Designer Jonathan Simkhai, Westfield Century City, and Alfred Coffee are just a few participants.

January may be the hottest time for making good on charitable resolutions, but let's not forget that there are 11 other months that are equally opportune times to karma points. If you're looking to really make the most out of your next retail therapy session, coffee run, self-care appointment, and Sunday brunch (to name a few), Children's Hospital Los Angeles' fifth annual Make March Matter campaign is here to help.

Now through March 31, local businesses and brands are hosting events or giving a portion of proceeds to CHLA. Jimmy Choo is donating 20% of sales during its shopping soirée on Tues., March 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. at its Beverly Hills store (RSVP here), while actress January Jones is hosting a party at designer Jonathan Simkhai's West Hollywood boutique Tues., March 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. (RSVP here).

On Thurs., March 12, Westfield Century City retailers including Anthropologie, Chan Luu, Gorjana, Kendra Scott, J. Crew, Maje, Sandro, Vineyard Vines, and others are also giving to the cause, and some of the brands are even extending their kindness through the weekend or to their other locations. And there'll be block parties happening across L.A., including at Melrose Place (March 21), Larchmont Village (March 23), and The Point in El Segundo (March 28). Other shops that are participating all month long include Skylight Books and Rabbit Ladders, as well as local designers and brands like Box Fox, Jacquie Aiche, Project Social T, and more.

Plenty of fashionable food and drink spots are joining in on the action, too. Alfred Coffee and Jones Coffee Roasters, The Pie Hole, and Porto's Bakery are just a few participants, and nightlife and hospitality gurus H.wood Group's lineup of celebrity-beloved L.A. hangouts (including 40 Love, Bootsy Bellows, Delilah, Poppy, Harriet's, Mason, The Nice Guy, and others) are also donating to the cause the week of March 16.

Self-care seekers can also indulge in charitable R&R: Luxe coastal resort Terranea is hosting a sunset vino event with OneHope Wines (Fri., March 6), a full moon yoga session (Mon., March 9), and an all-day wellness daycation and silent auction and benefit concert (Sat., March 14) in addition to donating $5 from every stay to Make March Matter. And aromatherapy skincare brand Lather is also donating a portion of sales at its stores in Long Beach (March 12) and Pasadena (March 26).
