It was only a matter of time before quintessential Los Angeles coffee shop Alfred landed at our city's most popular seaside shopping haunts. The fashionable café is set to open on Abbot Kinney by this summer, and founder Josh Zad confirms to UncoverLA that the location will also debut Alfred's newest coffee and tea menu.
Similar to the rest of the local coffee chain's locations, the 1,110-square-foot shop will feature its own personality influenced by its surroundings. Of course, the "distinctly '80s/DIY/Muscle Beach" space will include 'grammable design elements, including hanging rings inspired by Venice's famed fitness scene.
Once open, the Venice outpost will mark Alfred's 11th L.A. location. The brand opened at Palisades Village last year and also has cafes in Austin and Tokyo.
Stay tuned for more.
