At Beauty Editor-Founded Pop-Up Atterton, Shop Rising Cult-Fave Brands and Book a Star-Faved Facial

Beauty industry veteran Kelly Atterton's first store has opened at Bel Air's Glen Centre.

It's no surprise that any "editor-approved" beauty list gets all of the clicks. As skincare guinea pigs with unparalleled access to industry experts, beauty editors have made it their livelihoods to find the crème de la crème of a very overwhelming market. For those who've ever been tempted to tap "add to cart" on every product on the annual best-of roundups, you can get that experience IRL at Atterton Store, a new pop-up shop from beauty industry veteran Kelly Atterton.

The store opened last November at the Glen Centre in Bel Air and ill hold court "through summer and possibly beyond," says Atterton, who currently serves as C magazine's beauty director and was previously west coast director of Allure. (She's also the founder of soon-to-launch teen skincare brand, Rile.)

The 900-square-foot wonderland carries over 25 emerging beauty brands handpicked by Atterton and houses an upstairs treatment room offering services from star-beloved aestheticians. The lineup features Valentina Belova (known for her microcurrent-powered facial massages), Lady Gaga-beloved facialist Joomee Song (renowned for her signature Kaika facial), and Kát Rudu (whose clients include Jenna Dewan and Eva Mendez) alongside lash extensions by Sarah Maxwell.

As far as what's on shelves, expect to find clean, non-toxic, and luxury beauty brands, including Rudu's own pure biotic line and Maxwell's LivyLash line of lash care products alongside skincare from Angela Caglia, Retrouvé, Honor MD, 3 Moons, Iris & Romeo, Caldera + Lab, Priya Apotheca, Reflekt, and other cult-favorite labels.

Also on offer are all-natural serums by Superflower, face primers by Heir Atelier, gua sha ritual products by Wildling, botanial haircare by Masami, boob tape from just-launched (and fellow editor-founded) L.A. brand Nue, organic wild-crafted aromatherapy oils by Daughter Alchemy, hemp oils from Juna, and metaphysical giftables by Urban & The Mystic (think crystals, candles, and more), to name just a few.

Atterton tells that the store will also host events, including product launch parties, journaling workshops, founder mixers, and more. For those looking to book beauty treatments and get scheduling details, shoot an email kelly@atterton.co.
