If you require all of your food to be organic, ethical, astrological, and biohacking-friendly, then your new naturopathic happy place is Pantry L.A. The biodynamic and wellness store opened late January on Melrose Avenue next door to Mars Salon, where health-conscious Angelenos will find sustainable produce and free-range meat, clean beauty, a coffee and libations bar, and more.

At the approximately 2,000-square-foot space, shoppers can pick up locally-sourced and biodynamically-grown foods, including herb-infused butters, mineral broth elixirs, plant-based "dairy," fruits and veggies from Apricot Lane, and free-range meat and fish from Ojai's Watkins Ranch, Newport Meat Co., and Santa Barbara Fish Market. A grab-and-go menu also offers keto-friendly yogurts, salads, soups, and other ready-made meals from local chefs.

You can also order medicinal java from Willie's Remedy, a $24 organic adaptogenic latte blended with edible gold and Rainforest Alliance-certified coffee, or Modern Times cold brew, while the tonic and elixir bar serves concoctions such as the immunity-boosting Hormone Harmony or the Honey Nut Serial (made with oat milk, high-potency hemp, Superfat cacao, coconut butter, and saffron) created by Pantry L.A.'s in-house naturopath.

There are also home cleaning products from Twist, Cleaner Soul, and Green Works; adaptogen powders from Goldmine; and immunity boosters and medicinal tonics from Wylde One, WholeSunWellness, Christara Cold & Flu, Quantum Silver, and Lupo-Spheric. Over in the beauty department, stock up on skincare from Khus + Khus, essential oils from Doterra, full-spectrum hemp products from Winged, topicals from Vital Body Therapeutics, and more.

And once shelter-in-place orders have been lifted, Pantry L.A. will resume its monthly farmers markets, which take place the second Saturday of the month.

Co-founded by former Erewhon regional director Brandie Rossi, the biodynamic market also offers a range of wellness services, such as nutrition and integrative medicine consultations, sound baths, ozone therapy, facials, massages, and more.

The shop is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and offers shopping assistance for the elderly during business hours as well as phone ordering and Postmates delivery. Up next are three more locations in North America: San Francisco, Seattle, and Vancouver.
