Create & Cultivate’s inspiring summits may be screen-only (for now), but it’s offering one creative way for Angelenos to interact with its latest endeavor IRL — and discover WOC-owned brands, while they’re at it. Now through August 29, the digital media platform’s first Small Biz pop-up is holding court at Culver City’s Platform for a social distancing-friendly shopping experience.
In partnership with Postmates and Square, the summer concept boutique allows guests to window shop a selection of items from seven independent brands as well as its first-ever collection of colorful vegan leather accessories ($30 to $140). In addition to C&C’s multi-tasking wallets, laptop cases, and bags, expect to shop other stylish items including modern aviator sunglasses ($255) from twin sister DJ duo-founded label Coco & Breezy, a tropical print face mask ($25) from L.A.-based swimwear and resort label Jungle Gurl, and an optimistic water bottle ($18) from Have A Nice Day.
There are also handmade candles ($68) from Gilded, hand sanitizer from Organic Bath Co., aloe vera face moisturizer ($21) by Base Butter, and a clean CBD-infused detoxifying bath soak ($32) from Undefined Beauty.
You can also shop via Postmates (search for “Create & Cultivate”) for in-person, contact-free pickup at Platform’s Drive-Through curbside service or delivery, depending on your area. Shoppers can also scan the Square QR codes located throughout the stylish lifestyle center to buy online.
