Tamara Mellon's celeb-beloved heels were made for red carpet walking (see: HRH Meghan Markle, Taraji P. Henson, and Cindy Crawford, to name a few) — and traveling across the country, as evidenced by the luxury footwear designer's new shopping truck. Fresh off stops in Aspen and the Hamptons, the former Jimmy Choo co-founder's Mobile Shoe Closet is serving Los Angeles footwear fiends at Malibu Village, where it'll be parked now through Oct. 12.
Located near Wells Fargo, the 26-foot open-air truck stocks the designer's strappy sandals, colorful heels, fall-ready boots, and more in sizes 35 to 42. Expect new styles like the Legacy line of pumps ($495) and boots in ankle- and knee-high sihouettes ($650 to $895) alongside favorites like the minimalist Dusk sandals ($450), the Horizon criss-cross flats ($450), the Twist heels ($550), and many other event-ready steppers.
To ensure a safe retail therapy experience, shoppers and encouraged to book an appointment in advance. Social distancing will be enforced and shoppers will be provided with PPE.
