Jennifer Fisher's New Beverly Hills Flagship Is a Nod to Her Bicoastal Roots

For her first West Coast flagship, the fine jeweler created a space that's chic and minimalist — just like her celebrity-approved pieces.

Jennifer Fisher's quintessential thick, gold hoops have adorned the likes of Cardi B., Hailey Bieber, and Ashley Graham, who turn to the brand's minimalist-with-an-edge jewelry — a description that also suits the New York-based designer herself. But what her devotees may not know is that Fisher actually hails from the West Coast, a fact that explains why she's even more excited about her latest store opening: A Beverly Hills flagship.

The CFDA-nominated designer started gaining her cool-girl following a decade ago, but after opening her first storefront in New York City back in 2014, she's only gotten more popular as a go-to for updated jewelry classics, including gold and brass chains, bangles, and of course her signature hoop earrings. That said, it only makes sense that by now her clientele would be begging for a West Coast outpost. And as of February of this year, now her Southern California shoppers have a little haven to call their own.

Fisher's second flagship store sits in the heart of Beverly Hills, near the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Canon Drive. To set up shop here was a natural choice for the California native, who wanted the 1,200-square-foot space to reflect both her past and present lives. To achieve the perfect East-meets-West-Coast aesthetic, she worked alongside friend and interior guru Michelle Gerson.

"I wanted to make sure we brought a piece of New York to Los Angeles," Fisher tells Uncover LA. "The brick wall and the concrete floors give the space an industrial feel. I wanted the cases to feel light, bright and airy-almost floating- so we whitewashed everything and gave it a California feel. I wanted to make sure we were contrasting the city with the beach."

To complement the minimalism of her pieces, Fisher and Gerson chose decor that's equally minimal and modern. "It was important to me that the jewelry felt approachable and not too precious," the designer says. "The chandeliers are from Entler lighting, which I love. The chaises and coffee tables are from my CB2 collaboration."

And she also shares that this is opening reflects a trend to expect in the future. "The store is going to set the tone for the rest of our stores as we continue to expand," she adds, admitting that she already has her eye on Orange County.

In addition to her best-selling hoops, charms, and chains (which range in price from $95 for a small brass ear cuff to $16,000 for a gold and "floating" diamond ring), the new location will also feature products from the designer's culinary project, Jennifer Fisher Kitchen, namely a collection of custom-blended salts.

Though the store has been open for a few months, Fisher admits that she's already so proud of how her passion project has turned out — especially given the circumstances. "This store opening has been a ton of work in the middle of a pandemic, and I am immensely proud of my team for helping to make it happen," she says. "As someone raised in California it feels like somewhat of a homecoming to be here. I am really looking forward to finally being able to celebrate the store and our West Coast presence when the time is right!"
