We know you latch onto your Uggs until they disintegrate into dust or until they're nothing more than thick socks with no outsole (we do too), but there comes a time in every Ugg fan's life when their go-to pair needs replacing. There's also a moment when you realize that the SoCal-based brand's signature sheepskin material would be great for a hat, loungewear or a bag — and perhaps even the iconic Bushwick Birkin. Just in time for the colder months ahead (please, please), the celeb-loved label is once again getting the Telfar twist with the second drop of both brands' collaboration.
Seen on everyone from AOC to Beyoncé, the NY It bag label founded by Liberian-American designer Telfar Clemens and Ugg are releasing the Autumn/Winter 2021 edition of their all-gender collection. Originally launched in June, the collab features new and returning footwear, apparel, and accessories and will be available for purchase on the Telfar's website starting on Thursday, October 14 and on Ugg's website and in select retail stores starting on Monday, October 18.
This iterate of the collab pays homage to what the world loves about Uggs – their iconic Classic Short and signature sheepskin material. The Ugg Classic Mini merges with Telfar's signature "TC" monogram to offer customers an array of styles to choose from.
Having made its original debut in December of 2020 for a unique pre-sale IG Live event at Ugg's Fifth Avenue flagship in New York City, Telfar's all-gender shopping bag is an everyday bag for anyone. The collab inspired the Ugg x Telfar Medium Shopper ($290) and Small Shopper ($192), which plush Telfar logos, exposed shearling trim, two cross-body straps, and magnetic snap closure. And they're made from the Ugg sheepskin we know all too well, and a pure cotton twill lining.
The Sherpa-lined Ugg x Telfar Logo Hoodie ($210) in chestnut and heather grey is why we're hoping autumn brings with it some colder temps. It features a plush collab logo mashup on the chest, exposed Sherpa spill seams, creamy pom-poms, and classic hoodie details like rib-knit cuffs and a kangaroo pocket. Cold weather, watch out. Seriously.
