The Ritz-Carlton has joined forces with Showtime to honor The First Lady, the network's forthcoming anthology drama series. In the first-of-its-kind collab beginning this month, select Ritz-Carlton properties in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. will convert presidential suites into The First Lady Suites – offering Marriott Bonvoy members the opportunity to immerse themselves in the worlds of the first ladies portrayed in the series.

The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles will evoke the Ford era with actual set pieces and props from the production set of The First Lady such as a model building of the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif. For a peek inside the White House lives of the First Ladies featured in the series, the event is hosting a public open house on Tuesday, April 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. where visitors can go on a guided tour of the suite.

As audio, video, and behind-the-scenes clips pull the curtain back on these icons in a bright, 1970s interior reminiscent of the Ford period, you'll be able to pose for your very own First Lady-style digital portrait. During the public event, you can also enjoy complimentary refreshments that mirror the first ladies' favorite foods, including versions of the famous Ritz-Carlton cookies (while supplies last). In addition to '60s and '70s silk robes, formative pieces of literature for Ford and her trailblazing advocacy such as The Feminine Mystique will be on display.

The time travel doesn't end there. Ritz's lobby will exhibit elegant period costumes worn by the show's actors – Viola Davis as Michelle Obama, Michelle Pfeiffer as Betty Ford, and Gillian Anderson as Eleanor Roosevelt – as well as serve up first lady-themed cocktails and mocktails in its bars and restaurants.

Want to spend a night in the First Lady Suite? You'll have to sign up to become a Marriott Bonvoy member through the Marriott Bonvoy Moments platform and bid on the suite. Stays include the opportunity to dine like a first lady with a private in-suite, custom-curated dinner, and drinks for two all featuring the first ladies' favorite recipes.

Later in April, Mariott Bonvoy members will have the opportunity to attend the VIP world premiere of The First Lady through the Moments platform. Plus, the winning bidder will get to watch the premiere from reserved seating in the theater and continue the evening's festivities at the after-party.

Bidding on the overnight stay is now open here and bidding on the world-premiere through Moments will open later this month. The show premieres on Showtime on Sunday, April 17 at 6 p.m. PT.
