A Pop-Up Restaurant Inspired by 'The Golden Girls' Is Coming to Beverly Hills

Opening on July 30th, the pop-up will serve up a dining experience, exclusive merch, and more inspired by memorable moments from the beloved sitcom.

A dash of granny-chic and a heaping dose of nostalgia sprinkled with sunny 90210 and you have yourself a Beverly Hills pop-up restaurant inspired by beloved sitcom The Golden Girls. Opening on July 30th— which is National Golden Girls Day—Golden Girls Kitchen will be a fully functioning restaurant and bar that transports diners to the cast's favorite iconic Miami hangout circa the '80s.

At the fast-casual Golden Girls Kitchen, Shady Pines waiters will be serving up Sophia's lasagna al forno (meat or vegan), plus other menu items like a Miami-style Cuban sandwich, Blanche's Georgia-style cookie, and the bacon lettuce potato sandwich—all created by executive chef Royce Burke of pop-ups including Secret Lasagna and Dino's Famous Chicken.

Most importantly, there'll be cheesecake in a variety of flavors including chocolate, strawberry, pumpkin, and Oreo. A triple-threat dessert called Sperheoven Krispies (also available vegan)—which includes cheesecake, strawberries, and chocolate ice cream—is also on the menu.

You'll be able to fill your belly and your feed because the pop-up will feature a variety of iconic photo moments for fans to play in the world of Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sofia. Cozy up to the kitchen table, relish some rays on the lanai, or snap a selfie in front of everyone's favorite palm print. There'll also be a range of new and exclusive Golden Girls merchandise available to purchase.
