Deep Field (L.A.): Kicking off this weekend, an interactive augmented reality experience Deep Field will allow visitors of all ages to create a digital ecosystem of fantastical plants using a new drawing app on the iPad Pro with Apple Pencil. Created by artists Tin&Ed, the immersive simulation is launching in tandem with the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney. Find out more information here.

Micheaux Film Festival (Culver City & DTLA): Micheaux Film Festival, honoring the legendary Oscar Micheaux and celebrating diverse storytelling, is returning to Los Angeles. This year's theme for the 5th annual event is Outliers – inspired by the seminal book by Malcolm Gladwell – celebrating individuals that defy odds in the face of adversity. X Games California (Ventura): X Games California takes over Ventura County Fairgrounds for three-days of heart-pounding action as the world's best skateboard, BMX, and Moto X superstars throw down their best tricks and compete for X Games gold. Expect appearances from Tony Hawk, Sky Brown, and more elite competitors. General Admission tickets include access to all competitions plus access to X Fest – the interactive fan experience featuring mini ramps, athlete appearances, art installations, food, live music, and more. World of Barbie® in Los Angeles (Santa Monica): Experience the world of your favorite toy, Barbie®. This interactive exhibit gives guests the chance to live out their life-size Barbie® dream. The Friends Experience Pop-Up (Lakewood): The popular Friends Experience is heading to Long Beach for the summer. Fans of the hit show can revisit some of the series' most iconic moments with this interactive experience created by Original X Productions (OGX), Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment and Warner Bros. Stranger Things: The Experience (Montebello): Hawkins is coming to Los Angeles for the first time! Netflix and Fever have teamed up to create a new immersive experience inspired by the Stranger Things universe. Visit the infamous Hawkins Lab and the Upside Down. Poolside Cinema Space Jam Screening (Santa Monica): Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows and 'soak in' the return of the property's beloved Poolside Cinema Series featuring iconic classics and cult-favorite family-friendly movies. Don't miss a screening of the flick, "Space Jam".
