Bachelor Nation fans will have to wait until next week to watch The Golden Bachelor, but they can experience the highly-anticipated senior dating show starting today when the ABC series paints the town golden. (It debuts Sept. 28 on ABC and episodes will stream every Friday on Hulu.)
Today through Oct. 1, the Bachelor and Bachelorette spinoff series is taking over some of L.A.'s most iconic eateries and destinations in honor of 72-year-old Gerry Turner, the retired restaurateur seeking love. (The 22 "golden ladies" range in age from 60 to 75 and include Patty James, mother of The Bachelor season 25's Matt James.)
Concertgoers at tomorrow night's John Legend show at the Hollywood Bowl will find their seats are gold, and the legendary venue's screens will show Turner.
Angelenos of all ages can enjoy "Golden Hour" discounts from 5 to 7 p.m. at spots like Mel's Drive-In, Pink's Hot Dogs, and Randy's Donuts; and order up golden turmeric lattes, macarons and more at food trucks parked at The Grove, Abbot Kinney, Santa Monica, and beyond.
Too busy to make a pit stop? The show is also offering online discounts at Disney-owned companies (the House of the Mouse owns ABC, after all), including 30% off D23 official Disney fan club individual and duo memberships (use code GOLDEN23 from Sept. 28-Oct. 12).
