'The Golden Bachelor' Is Taking Over LA with Deals, Gold Roses and Food Trucks at Mel's Drive-In, The Grove and More

Ahead of the series' Sept. 28 premiere, a host of iconic spots are offering "Golden Hour" menus and more.

We love supporting local businesses — and sharing what to buy from them. All products or services are selected independently by our L.A.-obsessed editorial team, and we may earn a commission when you purchase through our links.

Bachelor Nation fans will have to wait until next week to watch The Golden Bachelor, but they can experience the highly-anticipated senior dating show starting today when the ABC series paints the town golden. (It debuts Sept. 28 on ABC and episodes will stream every Friday on Hulu.)

Today through Oct. 1, the Bachelor and Bachelorette spinoff series is taking over some of L.A.'s most iconic eateries and destinations in honor of 72-year-old Gerry Turner, the retired restaurateur seeking love. (The 22 "golden ladies" range in age from 60 to 75 and include Patty James, mother of The Bachelor season 25's Matt James.)

Concertgoers at tomorrow night's John Legend show at the Hollywood Bowl will find their seats are gold, and the legendary venue's screens will show Turner.

Too busy to make a pit stop? The show is also offering online discounts at Disney-owned companies (the House of the Mouse owns ABC, after all), including 30% off D23 official Disney fan club individual and duo memberships (use code GOLDEN23 from Sept. 28-Oct. 12).
