As the city's temperatures rise, so does the anticipation for new experiences to try in Los Angeles. While many line up for museum exhibits and rooftop pools, a few Angelenos know where the real fun is at- their local restaurant. Lucky for us, new spots are popping up around every corner.

Gran Blanco

After a period of redevelopment, the Gran Blanco returned with a brand new look and menu. Inspired by casual Japanese cuisine, the Venice staple's dining options were selected by co-founders Sam Trude and Sam Cooper. While the menu is more curated, it stands tall with delicious favorites such as the Cabbage Caesar, Sticky Rice Sticks, Yellowtail Crudo with Yuzu Balsamic, and Australian Wagyu with Peppercorn Sauce. The beverage menu also got a refresher with a stocked-up cocktail bar featuring specialty martinis and more. Sleek, stylish, and modern, the venue's design perfectly complements its culinary offerings, making it a must-visit destination.

Sirena

Keeping the summer fun at the beach, Santa Monica has a new all-day restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Bay. In May, The Georgian opened their oceanfront restaurant, Sirena. The iconic turquoise venue features Italian-Californian cuisine expertly crafted by Executive Chef David Almany, with a focus on fresh seafood flown in weekly from around the globe. The extensive wine list, curated by award-winning sommelier Kristin Olszewski, and the exquisite dessert and pastry program by Chef Thessa Diadem, add to the exceptional dining experience. Chef Almany's menu includes dishes like Sheep's Milk Ricotta Mezzaluna, Linguine Vongole Amalfitano and Jumbo Scallops Alla Piccata.

Laya

The City of Angels' newest gastronomy star, Laya, is here! Laya is the latest concept from Sunset Entertainment Group (SEG), pioneers of the Hollywood social scene, responsible for some of LA's most noteworthy nightclubs of the past three decades, including the Sunset Room and Lure. A recent "Top Chef" winner is behind the new restaurant's menu of Eastern Mediterranean dishes with California influence including skewers, sharma and more. The venue so far has been considered one of the prettiest of the summer, so make sure you get your photos while you are there.

Nicolas Eatery

Beverly Center proudly announces the arrival of Nicolas Eatery, a family-run restaurant from Malibu, offering a unique blend of French and Vietnamese cuisine. Situated on level 6 with stunning views of West Hollywood, it's a must-visit for Los Angeles food enthusiasts. Founded by former French Laundry GM Nicolas Fanucci, the eatery is dedicated to fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Menu highlights include vegetarian onion soup, steak frites, and lobster rolls. The Win~Dow

Since debuting in Venice in 2019, The WinDow has gained a devoted following for its quintessential smashburgers, and now it's bringing that experience to Hollywood. Along with its famous burgers, you can enjoy their classic fried chicken sandwich and the $8 Grain Bowl. The new location features a 300-square-foot patio, making it an ideal destination for tourists looking to dine al fresco.
