Memnon at the Getty Villa (Malibu): Getty Villa's outdoor classical theater program returns! Each fall, this series features a classical tragedy or comedy in the Getty Villa's dramatic Outdoor Theater, a venue modeled after ancient Greek and Roman theaters. Rail Safety: Los Angeles with Historic Locomotive (DTLA): The largest railroad safety event to take place at Los Angeles Union Station in more than a decade, Rail Safety: Los Angeles, will be chugging into DTLA. Headlined by the historic, 97-year-old steam locomotive, Santa Fe 3751, Rail Safety: Los Angeles will provide an educational opportunity for all who attend to learn the best ways to be safe around railroad tracks through train and informational booth displays on the platform of Track 15.

Northeast Los Angeles Earthquake Preparedness Fair (Highland Park): The Northeast Los Angeles Earthquake Preparedness Fair, presented by the Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council (HHPNC), aims to empower and reengage the local community in earthquake preparedness. This event will feature a variety of interactive activities, including a 4-seat earthquake simulator from Safe-T-Proof, which simulates the experience of a 7.0 magnitude earthquake, as well as hands-on demonstrations on essential disaster preparedness techniques. The event is free and open to the public.

Weed & Wine Documentary Premiere and After Party (Hollywood): Critically acclaimed film "Weed & Wine" will be premiering in Los Angeles, CA on Sept. 22, 2024. The documentary profiles the Jodrey Family and their cannabis farm in Humboldt County, CA and the Thibon Family and their vineyard in the south of France, exploring the differences and similarities between two families and two iconic plants.
