Lunar New Year Special at Ippudo (WeHo): Ippudo is offering an all-day happy hour as part of a special Lunar New Year promo at their West Hollywood location.
Happy hour options include a bun medley with your choice of pork, chicken, shrimp or veggie, along with select appetizers, sake cocktails, draft beer, and wine.

Lunar New Year at Yaamava' Resort with Chef Jet Tila (Highland): Yaamava' Resort & Casino's spectacular Lunar New Year celebration honoring the Year of the Snake with celebrity chef and Southern California native, Jet Tila. From January 29 to February 24, Chef Jet will take over Hong Bao Kitchen, collaborating with the resort to design an exclusive, limited-time menu that blends authentic Asian flavors with his culinary creativity. This seasonal offering will feature a variety of delicious delights, with twists on classic favorites, such as Golden Purse Wonton Soup, Long Life Noodles, Crispy Tangerine Beef and more. FireAid (Inglewood): The FireAid benefit concert will be held at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum on January 30th dedicated to rebuilding communities that have been devastated by wildfires. Contributions made to FireAid in connection with the FireAid benefit concert and other direct donations will be distributed under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation and will be distributed for short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters throughout Southern California. Giorgio's Discotheque at Sunset at EDITION (WeHo): Bryan Rabin's legendary Giorgio's Discotheque™ will return to The West Hollywood EDITION, following the success of its Black & White Masquerade Ball new year's eve event. The special edition Grammys week party on Thursday, January 30 will benefit MusiCares Disaster Relief. Open to the public, a donation of $30 is required for entry, which will go towards fire relief efforts, supporting music professionals impacted by the Los Angeles fires. Taking place at Sunset at EDITION, beneath 400 dazzling disco balls, the night will see an auction of photographic works by iconic celebrity photographer Greg Gorman. Now live online for bids, the iconic portraits feature Debbie Harry, Grace Jones and David Bowie. The winners will be announced during the party.

Wildfire Relief Mixer (WeHo): The Artist Tree Studio Lounge is hosting a 420 FRIENDLY evening of connection, creativity, green treats, and most importantly, helping L.A. rebuild. Presented in partnership with The Play, a sex-positive community organization. Your $20 ticket includes a little something special from The Artist Tree, food from Ike's Love and Sandwiches, live entertainment including a DJ, dance performance, non-infused treats from Emerald Sky, and an artistic creation station. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on an original photograph by award-winning artist Aaron McPolin. All proceeds from ticket sales, auction, and purchases at the Studio Lounge during the event will be donated to 2025 California wildfire victims. Proceeds will be donated to The Artist Tree's Painting a Path to Recovery: Wildfire Relief Fund to support California Community Foundation's Wildfire Recovery Fund. Donation funds generated that night will be matched by Nomad Lifestyle – doubling your impact.

DodgerFest 2025 (Elysian Park): The 2024 World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers are bringing back their annual DodgerFest celebration. The fan fest will give the city a chance to mix it up with the boys in blue as well as check out new merch, photo ops and more. Tickets are $20; and a portion of the proceeds going to the relief effort for the Los Angeles wildfires.

Lunar New Year Celebration at Cerritos Towne Center (Cerritos): Celebrate the Year of the Snake and bring the family to the Lunar New Year Celebration at Cerritos Towne Center. This free event will include Lion Dance performances, kids' crafts, photo opportunities, stilt walkers and a Lucky Red Envelope Giveaway

Lunar New Year Celebrations at Westfield Topanga (Canoga Park): Westfield Topanga is hosting an unforgettable Lunar New Year celebration to welcome the Year of the Snake in style. Guests can enjoy a captivating lion dance performance, receive lucky red envelopes, and take in the beautiful festive decor throughout the center. Admission is free, so bring your friends and family to share the joy of the season! What's more, you can also celebrate in style from participating retailers like Sandro, Maje, and Lego.

Shanghai Nights: A Lunar New Year Celebration (Lincoln Heights): For this special Lunar New Year concert, multilingual chanteuse, songwriter, and accordionist Jessica Fichot celebrates the swing era sounds of her mother's hometown of Shanghai. Her band will perform classic jazz tunes in Mandarin Chinese, iconic multilingual songs (in French, English and Chinese), Mandopop, and celebratory Chinese New Year classics. Featuring Chloe Feoranzo (clarinet), Alexis Soto Jr (upright bass), Tom Moose (guitar) and special guest Annie Zhou on guzheng (Chinese zither.) Entry is free.

Prosperity Market's Pop-Up (View Park/Windsor Hills): Prosperity Market–the mobile farmers market spotlighting Black farmers, food producers, chefs, and entrepreneurs in Los Angeles–hosts a pop-up market with over 35 Black-owned businesses in the parking lot at Hilltop Coffee + Kitchen. Originally planned as a celebration of Black History Month and Prosperity Market's fourth anniversary, in the wake of the destructive fires in Los Angeles, the event will now serve to honor the resilience of the LA community and provide resources for those affected. Prosperity Market invites Angelenos to bring gift card donations (grocery, Visa, Target, Wal-Mart, etc.) to the event, where they will partner with local organizations to distribute to families as they rebuild their homes and restock household essentials. This event is free to enter and open to the public.
