International Women's Day Dance Festival (Frogtown): Celebrate women's empowerment through dance at the 9th Annual International Women's Day Dance Festival, hosted by MashUp Contemporary Dance Company. This year's theme, "Accelerate Action," focuses on advancing gender equity and fostering meaningful dialogue among artists, advocates, and the community. Festival highlights include a Dance Industry Summit with mentorship sessions and an expo, seven dance classes led by renowned choreographers, showcases featuring female-identifying and non-binary choreographers, a community movement workshop, and a film screening event honoring women in dance film.
