Your family game night is getting a "Wild" update thanks to Vrbo. Today, Mattel, Inc. and the vacation rental site just announced their long-awaited partnership, revealing six limited-time vacation home stays. And, yes, L.A. made the list!
On Friday, May 15 at 10 a.m. PT, skip masters, draw fourers and the shuffling chiefs can request to book the "Wild Card" Stay at Vrbo.com/UNO for two-nights up to ten guests. Lucky players will stay at the luxurious three-story home in the Hollywood Hills from Friday, May 29 through Monday, June 1. And, why is this a "Wild Card," you ask. This stay is only $4 per night, making it the perfect deal for the whole family.
"UNO isn't just a game, it's a spark that brings people together, from fueling friendly rivalries to creating lasting memories," Katie Buford, vice president and global head of Mattel Games, said.
"With Vrbo, we're bringing UNO into these homes and turning them into game-night destinations, giving fans a new way to connect, compete and play together wherever they are."
Guests are welcomed into the property with two outdoor experiences, including a dedicated game patio and pool, setting the scene for sun-soaked competition and late-night "UNO!" callouts. Inside, the home is fully decked out with UNO-themed décor, transforming every corner into a playful, immersive game-night destination. Bookers can expect a full-on experience, complete with a curated UNO game night, an UNO x Vrbo Welcome Kit and even an in-home dining experience, to keep guests full during their matches. From hidden passages, a theater, gym, sauna and room for the kiddos, this house will also keep you entertained outside of the game.
To add to the fun, guests will get their hands on a custom UNO deck featuring original illustrations by Pietari Posti, with designs inspired by popular travel destinations and classic vacation moments tied to Vrbo stays. Each home includes the deck as a way to experience a new spin on game night, plus a Vacation Rental Swap rule that lets players switch hands mid-game and flip every round in true Draw 4 style.
And for those who miss out on the L.A. listing, there's still a chance to play! The partnership includes six stays total, with an additional "Wild Card" home in Austin, Texas, plus four "Play It Your Way" properties rolling out throughout the summer in destinations like Palm Desert, Winter Park, Panama City Beach and Atlanta.
