11th Annual Catalina Wine Mixer (Catalina Island): The Catalina Wine Mixer, the once-fictional "Step Brothers" party turned real-life coastal tradition, returns for its 11th year with a two-day weekend of wine tastings, beach parties, live music and movie nostalgia on Catalina Island. Hosted at Descanso Beach Club, the cult-favorite event invites guests to relive iconic moments from the comedy classic with a screening of "Step Brothers" inside the historic Avalon Theatre, alongside waterfront celebrations, VIP lounges and curated wine experiences. Now Be Here 10-Year Anniversary: Now Let's Talk, Los Angeles at Occidental College (Eagle Rock): Over 900 women and non-binary artists will gather for a landmark day of art, dialogue, and collective presence as Now Be Here celebrates its 10-year anniversary with a large-scale convening at Occidental College. The day begins with a historic group portrait, expected to be the largest gathering of women and non-binary artists in L.A., followed by "Now Let's Talk, Los Angeles," a free public program of artist-led conversations addressing gender equity, representation, and systemic challenges within the art world.
