Hollywood Climate Summit 2026 (Multiple Locations): The annual Hollywood Climate Summit returns for its seventh year, bringing together storytellers, entertainment executives, artists, scientists and climate advocates for two days of conversations focused on the intersection of culture and environmental action. "Cast Aside the Clouds" Screening Series (Beverly Grove): A timely new drama, "Cast Aside the Clouds" brings a deeply personal story of love, faith and resilience to the big screen through the lives of Layla, a young Baha'i woman, and Sasan, a respected surgeon navigating life in modern-day Iran. Directed by Mary Darling with co-directors Bre Vader and Felicia Sobhani, the film explores themes of identity, religious discrimination and hope through an intimate cross-cultural romance. California Watermelon Festival (Lake View Terrace): One of the San Fernando Valley's sweetest summer traditions returns as the California Watermelon Festival takes over Hansen Dam Recreation Area for a weekend packed with family-friendly fun, live entertainment and plenty of watermelon-inspired eats. Guests can sample everything from watermelon tacos, pupusas, cannoli and funnel cake to chamoy-topped slices, while enjoying live music, carnival rides, a car show, graffiti art demonstrations and an expanded Kids Zone.

The Boys: Glory Hall Immersive Museum Experience (Hollywood): Fans of The Boys can step inside the world of the hit superhero satire as Amazon MGM Studios transforms Hollywood Legion Post 43 into a massive two-day museum experience celebrating all five seasons of the Emmy-winning series. Studio 420: Celebrating Art & Pride (WeHo): Pride Month kicks off with an evening of art, film and community at The Artist Tree, where the cannabis lounge and gallery space will host its inaugural Studio 420 celebration. Blending queer history, contemporary art and nightlife culture, the event features a group exhibition curated by artist Katie Brightside, showcasing works from LGBTQ+ artists including Disco Daddy, Kii Arens, Brian Sonia-Wallace and others. Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat Fan Experience (Sherman Oaks): Fans of the hit comedy series can step into the world of Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat during this free interactive activation at Westfield Fashion Square. Hosted by Prime Video, the event transforms the shopping center into a playful company retreat complete with a themed food truck serving walking tacos, games, giveaways, photo opportunities, and quirky series-inspired details. Guests can snack on treats from "PJ's Snack Attack," collect exclusive merchandise, and meet cast members and creators from the show. Pushing Cool with Keith Wailoo (Brentwood): History, public health, and race intersect in this thought-provoking lecture at the Getty Center featuring award-winning historian Keith Wailoo. Drawing from his book Pushing Cool: Big Tobacco, Racial Marketing, and the Untold Story of the Menthol Cigarette, Wailoo examines how tobacco companies built and sustained the menthol cigarette market through decades of targeted advertising, shifting public health narratives, and political influence. Inspired by materials from the Johnson Publishing Company archives held by the Getty Research Institute, the discussion explores the complex relationship between marketing, race, health policy, and American consumer culture. Presented in partnership with the Southern California Society for the History of Medicine, the event offers a compelling look at a topic that continues to shape conversations around public health and corporate accountability.
