Lido Legacy Live: The Righteous Brothers (Newport Beach): The Righteous Brothers, Bill Medley and Bucky Heard, will take the stage at the historic Lido Theater for two inaugural benefit concerts supporting the Newport Beach Junior Lifeguard Scholarship Program and Friends of OASIS Senior Center. Both evenings begin with a reception featuring cocktails, appetizers and a silent auction along The Lido Walk, followed by the concert. Fans can expect classics including "(You're My) Soul and Inspiration," "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" and "Unchained Melody," plus auction experiences like a meet-and-greet with Medley and the chance to sing onstage with him.

Bleachers at the Troubadour (WeHo): Jack Antonoff's indie-pop project Bleachers returns to West Hollywood for a five-night intimate residency at the Troubadour, celebrating the group's latest release, Everyone For Ten Minutes. The all-ages shows will feature the New York-based act across five dates, with Sunday, Sept. 13 as the only off-night. A portion of every ticket sold will also benefit The Ally Coalition, supporting LGBTQ+ youth.

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios (Hollywood): Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights returns for the 2026 season with a terrifying lineup of haunted houses, scare zones and live entertainment. New experiences include "Terror Tram starring Art the Clown," "KILLceañera: Music by SLASH" and "Dead, Deader, Deadest," alongside the return of fan-favorite "Killer Klowns From Outer Space" and "The Purge: Dangerous Waters." Guests can also encounter scare zones including "Fortnitemares," "Hackerz," "El Circo de la Muerte" and "Blood Bog," plus previously announced houses inspired by Sinners, Stranger Things, Hellraiser, Evil Dead Burn and "Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness." New this year, the Unmasking the Horror Tour Add-On offers a behind-the-scenes, lights-on look at the making of select haunted houses.

Cross Town Takeover: Super Peach x Yang's Kitchen (Century City): Super Peach continues its Cross Town Takeovers series with East Side favorite Yang's Kitchen, bringing the restaurant's thoughtfully sourced, farm-to-table Chinese cooking to the Westside for a one-night collaboration. The $75 prix fixe menu features Dungeness crab and steelhead trout tartare to start, a choice of steak frites, grilled bass or mushroom noodles, and Elaine's "Purin" with Okinawa brown sugar plums for dessert.

Rooftop Cinema Club: "Steel Magnolias" (DTLA): Head to Rooftop Cinema Club DTLA for a dual-language screening of Steel Magnolias honoring Dolly Parton, who stars alongside Sally Field, Julia Roberts and Shirley MacLaine in the beloved story of friendship, love and the trials of life in a small Southern town. Plus, 10% of ticket sales will benefit Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, making this rooftop screening a night out for a good cause.

Jazz at LACMA: L.A. Jazz Treasure Award (Mid-Wilshire): Spend Friday evening with Betty Bryant at LACMA as the veteran pianist and vocalist is honored with the annual L.A. Jazz Treasure Award from LACMA and the Los Angeles Jazz Society. Nicknamed "Cool Miss B," Bryant has been a fixture of the L.A. jazz scene since moving to the West Coast in 1955 and has released 14 albums throughout her career. The free concert is part of LACMA's weekly Jazz at LACMA series, with food trucks Melnificent Wingz and Man Eating Plant on site.

Sun Soaked Festival (Huntington Beach): Kaskade and Insomniac bring Sun Soaked back to the sands of Huntington State Beach for its second year following a sold-out 2025 edition. Cinespia: "Goodfellas" Screening (Hollywood): Spend Saturday night with Martin Scorsese's iconic mob classic "Goodfellas" at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The 1990 film follows Henry Hill as he rises through the ranks of the mob before paranoia, power plays and betrayal begin to unravel the life he built. Starring Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Paul Sorvino, the screening also includes DJ sets before and after the film, a free Goodfellas-inspired photobooth, concessions and a beer and wine bar.

Papyrus Scroll Making: Family Workshop and Artist-at-Work: Papyrus Making (Pacific Palisades): Step into the ancient world at the Getty Villa with a hands-on family workshop inspired by The Egyptian Book of the Dead. Create your own papyrus scene based on ancient Egyptian vignettes while local Egyptologists demonstrate how papyrus was made and explore the plant's many uses in ancient Egypt. NORMS Fall Menu Refresh (Multiple Locations): NORMS is kicking off the fall season with a menu refresh featuring five new dishes, all under $20, across its locations. New additions include the stacked NORMOUS Burger with double patties, bacon and American cheese, Chile Verde Chicken Bowl, Quesadilla Omelette, Red Chile Steak Bowl and a Cold Brew Coffee Cold Foam with three flavor options. Select locations will also offer freshly squeezed orange juice, giving diners more affordable options as the season changes.

Echoes of Our Ancestors 2: Heroes & Saints (Griffith Park): Celebrate Armenian culture and heritage with an epic musical and visual experience at The Greek Theatre, headlined by Serj Tankian of System of a Down. Following its sold-out world premiere at the venue in 2025, the production returns with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, led by Chief Conductor Sergey Smbatyan, alongside artists including Arto Tuncboyacıyan, Sebu of Capital Cities, Inga & Anush Arshakyan and Isabel Bayrakdarian. Hulu's "Chad Powers" Catfish Food Truck (Venice): Hulu is bringing the world of "Chad Powers" to Venice for a free one-day pop-up celebrating the return of Season 2. Fans can stop by the Catfish Food Truck for show-inspired bites like the SG Catfish Po'Boy and Fries Full of Lies, each paired with a complimentary sweet tea, or "change the play" for a chance to catch exclusive Powers #2 jerseys launched from a soft-shot cannon. First Friday: Stamp Carving Workshop with Artist Timothy Musso (Catalina): Spend the evening at Catalina Museum for Art & History with artist Timothy Musso for a creative stamp-carving workshop inspired by his current exhibition, Tim Musso: Chasing the Sun: The Art, Process, and Design of Writing and Illustrating a Children's Book. The evening begins with a brief tour of the exhibition, featuring 19 original linoleum prints created for Musso's book Chasing the Sun, which follows the Arctic Tern's extraordinary 50,000-mile annual migration, before participants dive into their own hands-on stamp-carving experience.

Kaskade (Santa Monica): Dance by the ocean as Kaskade brings his immersive ORIGIN // show to one of Southern California's most iconic waterfront landmarks. Presented by Goldenvoice, the electronic music favorite will take over the Santa Monica Pier with support from Bryce Alakai for a special night overlooking the Pacific. The show is currently sold out, but fans can join the waitlist for a chance to attend.
