While we love a good Advanced Style moment, every once in a while we could use a sartorial palate cleanser to fully appreciate the maximalist movement. Online e-tailer Modern Citizen caters to those of us in the mood for minimalism, and next month, the cool lifestyle brand is giving LA a taste of its goods IRL when it pops up at Downtown's next major anti-shopping center.

Starting November 1st, Modern Citizen is setting up shop at creative mixed-use development Row in the Arts District for a two-month retail residency. Expect to find the brand's selection of sleek, wallet-friendly womenswear (think monochromatic basics and '90s-inspired silhouettes) alongside modern home goods, beauty and apothecary products, accessories, and more.

In addition, the e-boutique will host a series of pop-in shops, starting with NY-based denim brand Industry Standard. From Thursday, November 3rd to Sunday, November 6th, shop the label's LA-made jeans and score 20% off when you show your support for Hillary Clinton and embroider #IMWITHHER on your purchase. (Proceeds will be donated to the Democratic presidential nominee's campaign.)

From Thursday, November 17th through Sunday, November 20th, Negative Underwear's effortless underpinnings will hold court with Modern Citizen. Both pop-in shops are hosting stylish launch parties on their opening dates; learn more and RSVP here.

Modern Citizen at The Row will be open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
