More beauty news for your Monday. Starting tomorrow, YSL Beauty is transforming the Ace Hotel Theatre's box office into a luxe lipstick boutique for its first-ever U.S. pop-up, as seen in the photographic proof above.
From noon to 8pm Tuesday, January 10th and Wednesday, January 11th, the temporary beauty boutique will stock the French fashion house's luxury lipsticks and more. The Lip Showroom will stock range of shades from YSL's Rouge Vulopté Shine, Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick, Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain, and its recently-launched Vinyl Cream Lip Stain collections ($32 to $37). Beauty buffs will also enjoy complimentary engraving on their lipstick tubes on the spot.
In addition, the pop-up will offer a limited edition of the luxury label's crowd-pleasing Touche Éclat concealer (which will feature a star-embellished design) alongside its Black Opium and Mon Paris fragrances. Plus, YSL's beauty crew will be serving up touch-ups all day Tuesday.
Although Los Angeles-obsessed Hedi Slimane is no longer at the helm of YSL, we can't help but wonder if his Angeleno pride played a role in the brand's decision to debut its pop-up in LA. (The fashion and beauty businesses are run separately; the latter is owned by L'Oréal.) Given that its newest brand ambassador is LA-bred model/musician Staz Lindes, we're thinking the answer is "Oui."
