Back in February, we revealed that Reformation was opening its second LA boutique at Culver City's Platform. We now have a major update for conscious style stars: The sustainably cool label is actually opening two new outposts in Los Angeles.
While the Westside store is set to début next Tuesday, May 30th, Ref's third LA shop is headed to 8000 Melrose Ave. just west of Fairfax and will open its doors Tuesday, June 6th. (Note that its other Melrose space will stay put.) As far as size, the Culver City shop will land at 2,140 square feet and the second Melrose outpost will span a whopping 3,275 square feet.
That's not all: Following in the footsteps of Ref's SF high-tech pop-up, the two new LA shops will feature digital fitting room touch screens that'll act as virtual "attendees", allowing shoppers to request more clothing, color options, and sizes, and customize lighting and music. Even cooler? the fitting rooms will be equipped with a "magic wardrobe," where your requested merch will appear for you to try on, sans leaving the dressing room.
As far as the interiors, the earth-minded label's halls and walls will feature efficient lighting and low-VOC paints (which are release less toxins over time). #Refbabes will also find hangers made from recycled material during their retail therapy experience; after check out, they'll take home their goods in reusable tote bags.
Stay tuned for more, including photos from inside the two new LA Reformation stores.
