Vans is arguably one of Southern California's most famous fashion exports, and the footwear brand will soon make a major footprint on one of Los Angeles' most buzzing streets. The skater-beloved label is opening a massive flagship on Broadway in Downtown, making it one of the company's largest stores in the world.
As Brigham Yen of DTLA Rising reports, Vans is moving into the historic Singer Sewing Building, nestled between Urban Outfitters (formerly the Rialto Theatre) and the Tower Theatre, which Apple is rumored to be taking over. The brand's DTLA store will span approximately 8,000 square feet and will include a mezzanine level, writes Yen, and the eight-story, 1930s-built landmark itself will be also be home to luxury lofts.
Vans DTLA is set to open spring 2018; stay tuned for more!
