The luxe hotel recently scored international designer Marie France Van Damme's first U.S. boutique, offering resort-ready retail therapy to fashionable travelers (or to famous fans like Beyoncé, Olivia Palermo, and Heidi Klum) in the high-end nabe.
Open as of the end of September, the shop offers the Canadian-bred, Hong Kong-based designer's signature silk chiffon caftans alongside other pool (and beach)-to-cocktail bar pieces inspired by 1960s Hollywood jet-setters, plus swimwear, sunglasses, fragrances, and candles. The store also features Van Damme's latest collection — dubbed "Dolce Vita" — of day dresses and eveningwear dreamed up in silver and nude hudes, hand-embroidered fabrics, French lace, and super-light Chinese silk.
