Veronica Beard's First LA Boutique Is A Fearless Fashion Star's Wardrobe Wonderland

Melrose Place is becoming quite the destination for cool-girl wardrobe upgrades. The latest to land on the stylish shopping stretch is luxe label Veronica Beard, which toasted the official debut of its fourth U.S. boutique last night with the help of stylish stars like Louise Roe, Jamie Chung, Maria Menounos, comedic sisters Erin and Sara Foster, and many others.

Located in the space formerly occupied by Vince (which relocated to Melrose Avenue), the shop stocks sisters-in-law co-founders Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard's full womenswear collection inspired by classic American sportswear, including their bold brand's signature tailored Dickey Jacket. The shop also exclusively stocks denim jackets hand-painted by fashion illustrator Donald Robertson, who took inspiration from Venice, Beverly Hills, and more LA nabes for his one-of-a-kind designs. Accompanying VMB and VSB's fearless ready-to-wear are sunnies by Le Specs, minimalist leather bags by San Francisco-based Future Glory, and playful python skin clutches by Gelarah Mizrahi.

As far as the interiors, the designers scoured LA vintage havens like Harbinger, Harvey's 20th Century, and Lucca Antiques for the space's decor and furnishings, while art by Gemma Gene, Natasha Law, and Lisa Schulte deck out the walls.
