Tomas Maier is known for his playful approach to made-for-the-sun style, which is why it's no surprise that his first-ever pop-up would land in sunny LA. The Germany-born, Florida-based luxury designer — who's teaming with Uniqlo for an affordable capsule collection next month — brings his spring and cruise 2018 collections to Melrose Avenue, just a short stroll from from Bottega Veneta (where he serves as creative director).

Landing in the 3,300-square-foot corner space formerly occupied by Alexander McQueen (which relocated to Rodeo Drive), Maier's temporary shop offers womenswear, menswear, sunnies, jewelry, and more goods handpicked for Angelenos. In addition to the designer's signature swimwear, button-off pants (which conveniently convert to shorts), and sporty poplin shirts that feature adjustable sleeves, the boutique also features enamel accoutrements alongside artful carryalls bearing the kaleidoscopic palm print that greets shoppers in the store's floor-to-ceiling front windows.

A nod to the City of Angels in the 1960s as captured in legendary photog Ed Ruscha's Sunset Strip-inspired works, the boutique is open now through the end of June.
