It's been a decade since Unique Market began as a community-minded LA event to support local designers and makers. (Since then, they've expanded to creative Camps and a very cool DTLA event space.) To toast its 10th anniversary, the massive marketplace is invading Downtown's California Market Center this weekend with a slew of special birthday perks.
Happening Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13 (10am to 5pm daily), the two-day bazaar promises 300 vendors hawking handmade clothing, accessories, jewelry, home furnishings, art decor, stationery, gourmet food, and much more. That's not all: In honor of Unique LA's 10th birthday, they'll be serving free Tillamook ice cream throughout the entire weekend, plus coffee from Califia Farms, GT's Kombucha, coconut water by Harmless Harvest, and cocktails by Chaureau.
There'll also be a DIY floral crown bar, free portraits from Oh! Snap Studios, interactive art installations and photo walls created by local artists, relaxation lounges, and live DJ sets. (Phew!) Plus, all guests will score a limited-edition tote bag and an exclusive 10-year anniversary Unique magazine.
