This week's apparently all about the Westside. Over in Brentwood, stylish kids and their adults (and non-parents) have scored two new sources for their designer wardrobes from none other than the former founders of Intermix.

Enter The Westside, a Cali-cool boutique inspired by, well, the Westside's stylish seaside-dwelling citizens, and everafter, a shop geared towards label-loving little ones. Landing across from Brentwood Country Mart, the side-by-side concept stores each span 1,300 square feet and offer clothing, footwear, and accessories curated by wife-and-husband team Sari Sloane and Haro Keledjian. The LA shops are the first-ever West Coast outposts for the two retailers, which each boast three locations in New York.

Inspired by the Golden State, The Westside stocks pieces that can be worn from "picking up [the] kids to going out with friends to running errands." Expect to find womenswear from cult-cool Aussie label Zimmermann, bohemian-luxe clothing from Love Shack Fancy, swimwear and resortwear from Lisa Marie Fernandez, beach-ready basics from Aviator Nation, and eyewear from Garrett Leight.

Next door at ever after, stylish kids will find clothing from brands like Stella McCartney, Milly, Spiritual Gangster, and Sol Los Angeles; accessories by Bari Lynn; and shoes by Vans, to name just a few. For kids who need entertainment during their parents' retail therapy sesh, the shop also houses an interactive photo booth and a personalized nail bar alongside a weekly schedule of events.

Before creating the concept boutiques, Keledjian co-founded Intermix with his brother and Sloane previously served as the luxury retailer's fashion director. The entrepreneurial duo tied the knot in 2008 and sold their former company to Gap in 2013.
