Earlier this month, we revealed that The RealReal was setting up shop on Melrose Avenue for its first permanent boutique in Los Angeles. As promised, the luxury designer consignment company opened its doors last Thursday, bringing pre-loved treasures (and its first-ever men's store!) to West Hollywood.

The pre-loved fashion haven is located in that prime corner space at Melrose and La Cienega Boulevard, right across the street from Alice + Olivia, Anna Sheffield, MAC Cosmetics, and Cutler and Gross. The 12,000-square-foot concept shop is twice the footprint of TRR's SoHo outpost and houses womenswear, footwear, and accessories sectioned off by style — think one corner dedicated to event-ready dresses and another focused on Cali-bohemian wardrobes — alongside a 1,500-square-foot handbag vault filled with carryalls from Chanel, Chloé, Hermès, YSL, Louis Vuitton, and more (all displayed in open air so you can touch and feel the goods — yes, even the Birkins).

Over in the adjoining building, find a standalone 5,000-square-foot men's store, which boasts a sneakerdome filled with high-end kicks from Supreme, Common Projects, Yeezy, and more; a watch and whiskey bar; and a suiting and tailoring salon.  There's also a charming kids department, complete with fashion-inspired coloring books to keep tots busy). For those in need of pre- or post-spree replenishment (or perhaps you want to fuel up surrounded by Birkins), the in-store CaféCafé serves up coffee, pressed juices, salads, and pastries. Other amenities and services include curbside and in-store consignment drop-offs, item repairs, and alterations.

It's not just the clothing and accessories that are for sale: Everything in the store (including the decor) is available to take home, from the 42" x 60" Jean-Michel Basquiat print that's hanging in the handbag room and the luxe leather seating in the café to the coffee table books and CAP Beauty products displayed on the home goods shelf.

The store also features a luxury consignment office, which offers free valuations of fine jewelry, watches, and bags from TRR's squad of expert gemologists, horologists, and designer authentication specialists. See something that you love on TRR's website? In addition to tapping a personal stylist to select in-store pieces for you, you can also  request online inventory priced at $2,000 and up to see it IRL before you buy.

The store offers workshops to help label lovers properly ID their goods alongside master classes in styling, trends, and more.

TRR is the first anchor tenant to open at the majorly renovated building, which previously boasted a very Sephora-like exterior, thanks to its black-and-white striped design accented with not-so-millennial pink. The Melrose store is the retailer's second brick-and-mortar space after opening its valuation office at Westfield Century City two years ago.

The RealReal is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 7pm.
