Fashionable Westsiders have scored a cool monthly pop-up space for discovering online-bred local brands IRL. Bryck & Mortar has landed at the Brentwood Town Center at the buzzing corner of San Vicente Boulevard and 26th Street, just steps away from buzzing Brentwood Country Mart.

Located in suite 209, the pop-up retailer's 106-square-foot space debuted over the weekend with San Diego-based bag brand Rais Case, which will hold court with its luxe leather carryalls and accessories ($120 to $395), including messenger bags, totes, and its signature Vida bag that can be converted from a fanny pack into a clutch.

The shop will kick off 2019 with globally-conscious online market Eye Heart Mercantile, which works with artisans in Guatemala and beyond to design jewelry, home goods, and accessories (and creating sustainable employment in the process). The e-tailer will offer its handmade accoutrements alongside vintage finds through the entire month of January.

Bryck & Mortar was co-founded by lawyers and mothers Lesa Rosentreter and Ariella Thal Simonds, who brainstormed the idea during their daily routines filled with school drop-offs and post-work pit stops. The Brentwood-based women selected the Brentwood Town Center complex for its convenient corner location (and parking!), where their shop is neighbors with Blue Bottle Coffee, Paige, Theory, and Le Pain Quotidien, to name a few.

For non-Westsiders who dig the shop's concept, keep an eye out for a second outpost that's set to open sometime next summer. Stay tuned for more on that , and take a peek inside the boutique and scroll through the gallery above.

Bryck & Mortar, Brentwood Town Center, 13050 San Vicente Blvd., Suite 209, LA, 90049; open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
