The four-day, cruelty-free event kicks off Friday, February 1 at the Natural History Museum, where it's joining the historic LA institution's Night of Ideas lineup. Vegan Fashion Week's festivities continue through the weekend at the California Market Center in Downtown, where attendees can shop ethical designer clothing in the marketplace; explore a vegan lounge featuring fashion, beauty, and food from around the world; interact with installations and experiential exhibitions
The public happenings in DTLA take place Saturday, February 2 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., (there'll also be VIP-only runway show and after-party from 6 p.m. to midnight) and Sunday, February 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festivities will be capped off with a private fundraiser and awards
It's all the brainchild of Le French Lab creative director Emmanuelle Rienda, who previously brought some of France's coolest designers to LA and was behind last fall's Future of Fashion showcase powered by PETA and Fashion Revolution USA, among other local events.
