The big-box retailer deserves a spot on this list for making a business out of being obsessed with putting everything away in drawers or boxes — which you'll find plenty of alongside refrigerator organizers, glass jars, and more at its many LA locations, including at the Original Farmers Market, Westfield Century City, and Old Town Pasadena, to name just a few. Plus, time-pressed KonMari enthusiasts will find that their in-store pickup for online orders is super convenient.

Daiso

Hailing from Japan, this $1.50-and-up store is beloved for its wide-ranging selection of essentials like cheap kitchenware (including adorable bento boxes), plastic containers of every size, beauty and skincare, and travel accessories to random-but-somehow-you-need-it finds like head massagers, microfiber floor cleaning slippers, silicone sausage cutters, very kawaii tchotchkes, and much, much, more. Daiso has over a dozen outposts in the LA area (including in Westwood, Hollywood, and Little Tokyo in DTLA) but Redditors swear by the Japanese retailer's locations in Torrance and the San Gabriel Valley (where the chain first arrived in SoCal), which apparently have the largest spaces and most well-stocked selections.

General Store
From handmade etched ceramics and trinket trays to chic wall baskets and minimalist wooden brush and dust pan sets, this Venice boutique (which also has an outpost in San Francisco) has everything for keeping your bohemian modern abode in order. We dare you to resist picking up a few more things to fill that speckled stoneware bowl that bought (it's basically impossible).

Hawkins New York
The New York-based home goods brand made its highly-anticipated debut last year at Row DTLA, where its LA flagship stocks its minimalist line of perfectly-imperfect dinnerware, bedding, tabletop accessories, decor, woven storage baskets, and more alongside lighting from Menu, furniture from Gregor Jenkins and Ton, ceramics from WonkiWare, and apothecary products from Grown Alchemist, to name a few.

The interior decor-focused sister retailer of off-price chain TJ Maxx excels at what its name suggests. From fair trade baskets and acrylic makeup storage to midcentury modern-inspired side tables to those OXO Good Grips pop top containers, the discount-happy store has something for every style and budget. While there are over 10 stores across LA, our design-minded pals in the Interior Decor & More Friendship Club on Facebook swear by the El Segundo location's stellar inventory (Yelpers seem to agree, too).

IKEA
It may seem like a no-brainer, but it's worth a reminder: If you don't have the time or patience to go on a scavenger hunt for shoe cabinets and dainty knick-knack catch-alls, IKEA's largest U.S. outpost in Burbank is your best bet for items that blend seamlessly and stylishly with one another. In addition to their bestselling Malm beds and Lack side tables, the collab-happy Scandinavian home furnishings mecca houses no shortage of woven baskets, stationery boxes, and magazine racks — the list goes on. Bonus: You can fill up on those Swedish meatballs (which are also available in vegetarian options!) if you're wiped out after your shopping spree. You're on your own with those wonky illustrated assembly instructions, though.

Melrose Trading Post
We know, the Melrose Trading Post isn't exactly a store in a traditional sense — but whether you're looking for vintage suitcases or those African-made Bolga baskets spotted on every bohemian-cool fashion blogger, you can find them and much more at Fairfax High's weekly flea market, which takes place every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to featuring vendors hawking globally-sourced home goods, vintage-happy retail therapy spot also offers plenty of unique containers and more organizational items that are perfect for storing away your tchotchkes.

Muji
Often referred to as the Japanese answer to IKEA, Muji offers home furnishings and life essentials inspired by "emptiness" and "simplicity", not minimalism — so keep that in mind when you're stocking up on the retailer's popular acrylic drawers and jewelry cases, stacking wood shelves, rattan boxes, and laundry room accessories, to name just a few at the brand's newest (and largest) LA outpost in Santa Monica. We're major fans of Muji's cleaning system, which helps cut down on waste by featuring brushes, washable microfiber mop heads, and dusters that can be attached to a universal pole. (Say goodbye to that Swiffer.)

Like A+R, Poketo also relocated its flagship to stylish center ROW DTLA — and we're definitely not mad about it, because its bigger shop (dubbed Poketo Project Space) offers even more stationery (including its own stylish collection), colorful vases, chic metal trays, ceramic containers, and other organization-friendly goods alongside home decor, art, furnishings, clothing, jewelry, and more.
