If you're a fan of Heyday's clean facials but prefer to get pampered on the Westside, you're in luck. The New York-born skincare bar is opening its second L.A. outpost at Brentwood Country Mart, where expert Skin Therapists are ready to treat you (and your beauty buff crew) officially starting tomorrow. (Oh, and a very special CBD-infused treatment awaits, too.)
Landing in Free People's former shop, the relaxation-inducing interiors boast the same chic color palette as Heyday's Beverly location, but with a decidedly warmer California-inspired vibe: Think an adobe-style space featuring terra cotta walls and rounded archways alongside wood flooring and beams, a marble sink with coral accents, and plenty of natural light.
Also unique to the Westside skincare sanctuary is the welcome lounge, which is Heyday's "first shop to not have a centralized front desk. Our hope with this change is to break down the barrier between our team and our clients," the brand tells us. "It makes the retail area a central space to interact with and learn from our Skin Therapists, instead of a more traditional check-in/check-out experience you'd find at a spa."
On the menu are the brand's signature customizable treatments ($65 to $140), which are available in 30 minutes (ideal for a quick visage refresher), 50 minutes (good for monthly maintenance), or 75 minutes (great for "more chill time" and taking more time to address skincare concerns). Whether you're aiming to hone in on hyperpigmentation, dry or oily skin, or any other skin concerns, your facial will always include a personalized skin analysis by Heyday's licensed aestheticians as well as a deep cleanse, exfoliation, mask, hydration, and SPF protection. (The 50- and 75-minute options also include extractions.)
Oh, and about that cannabis-powered pampering sesh: Following the success of its 75-minute Back to Balance facial at the Beverly Boulevard shop, Heyday's also offering the exclusive pampering sesh at Brentwood. The mood-lifting treatment uses Cali-based cannabis wellness brand Mowellens' CBD massage oil and CBD honey mask to leave your skin feeling balanced. It's worth noting that while you might feel like you're getting that post-facial high, there's no THC (a.k.a. the ingredient that actually leaves you high) involved.
