This State-of-the-Art Pilates Studio Will Help Build Your Strongest Core Ever

Reformacore is just a stone's throw from Westfield Century City.

Here's one way to build a leaner silhouette and a core stronger than the collective abs of Riverdale. New(ish) fitness studio Reformacore opened in L.A. last year, bringing Pilates machine workouts just a stone's throw away from Westfield Century City.

Founded by master Pilates instructor Alyse Farkas, the 3,000-square-foot space offers one-hour sweat sessions for a variety of skill levels, from traditional mat Pilates designed for beginners to intermediate and advanced classes that involve workout machines such as the Reformer, the Cadillac, and stability chair. Also on offer is the plyometrics-focused Cardio Jump Board class, which uses the Stott Pilates Cardio-Tramp Rebounder as well as classic moves.

All of the classes are geared towards building endurance, strength, and flexibility, and every class is tailored to clients' needs to ensure the body and mind are always challenged (meaning you'll never do the same exact regimen twice). In addition to group classes, the studio also Farkas' Advanced Power Pilates Class, a private workout aimed at "pushing endurance levels and achieving strong core muscles contributing to a healthy and energetic body, which looks good and feels great."

As far as the facilities, expect all state-of-the-art equipment and locker facilities as well as a comfy lounge for pre- and post-workout hangouts. Valet parking is also available — it'll cost you just $2 for 90 minutes with validation.

Classes are $40 (or $25 for your first one), $185 for five classes, $330 for a 10-class package, or $600 for 20; private classes ($125 per session or $575 for a series of five) and semi-private classes ($70 for one or $325 for five) are also available.
