Melissa pop-up at Fred Segal (West Hollywood): Shop the Brazilian footwear label's fall/winter Mirror collection of patented recycled PVC shoes for women, men, and kids ($49 to $149) at its first experiential pop-up shop at Fred Segal's Artist Loft space. In addition to shopping Melissa's latest collabs with Vivienne Westwood and Jason Wu (among other cult-favorite designers), guests will "have the chance to share their own perceptions and create their own representations as if they were looking into a mirror."

Rowing Blazers pop-up at Brentwood Country Mart (Brentwood): Preppy-cool brand Rowing Blazers is taking over Brentwood Country Mart's very own U.S. Post Office Substation No. 1 for its first West Coast pop-up shop, which will offer its colorful jackets, blazers, polo and rugby shirts, collegiate tees, and accessories alongside exclusive t-shirts ($48 to $995).

Boyfriend pop-up at The Grove (Beverly Grove): Actress Kate Walsh's self-care lifestyle brand is popping up at The Grove with its full line of vegan and BPA-free fragrances, candles, and hand and body lotions ($19 to $65). Expect to shop Boyfriend's signature (and unisex) floral-infused woodsy vanilla fragrance as well as pulse point sprays and rollers.

Friday, June 28

FigFest Concert Series at Figat7th: STRFKR, De Lux, and Daniel T (DTLA): Legendary L.A. venue Silverlake Lounge teams up with the DTLA shopping center for a summer concert series featuring local bands and KCRW DJs every Friday in June. Doors open at 6 p.m.; this week, De Lux opens for headlining band STRFKR with Daniel T. spinning vinyl in between sets. Get more details and see the full schedule here

Plan Check's #MadeInLA cocktail series (Santa Monica): Raise a glass to Plan Check's summer cocktail series, which will feature limited-edition cocktails by Los Angeles-based spirits brand every month through September. July kicks off with podcast-loving vodka brand Our/Los Angeles, which will be hosting a make-your-own-martini cart, light bites, and cocktail samplings (all gratis, of course) during its launch party; RSVP here.

Saturday, June 29

Hello Kitty 45th anniversary group show at Corey Helford Gallery opening party (DTLA Arts District): The iconic Sanrio character will be the star of the show at Corey Helford Gallery, which will showcase over 100 international artists — including Mark Mothersbaugh, Paul Frank, Brandi Milne, Nouar, and more renowned talents — who've reinterpreted the adorable British girl (not a cat!) in their own style. The launch party is open to the public and will feature "special surprises" and the works will be on display through August 3; see the full roster of artists here.

Stranger Things 3 takes over Santa Monica Pier (Santa Monica): The pier is no stranger to playing backdrop on the small screen, but this weekend it'll star as the town of Hawkins when Stranger Things 3 takes over the deck parking lot ahead of its Netflix premier. By day, the '80s-inspired "Fun Fair" will feature the Hawkins Bike Shop (where you can jump on Schwinn bikes), live music, games, food, a photo booth, ice cream from the Scoopy Ahoy truck, and entertainment form the Hawkins High School cheerleaders. By night, the Pacific Wheel transforms into the Hawkins Wheel — complete with "The Upside-Down"-inspired touches.
