Los Angeles-based, Spain-made label Loq is known for its minimalist footwear and bags, which just happen to be stocked in some of the coolest stores in the world (including in L.A.'s own LCD, Fred Segal, Bird, and Mohawk General Store, to name a few). Now, the cult-favorite brand has a spot of its own in Glassell Park, where its first-ever boutique officially opened last week.

The store is located next to Loq's new studio just off the beaten path at the corner of North Eagle Rock Boulevard and West Avenue 35. Designed by Sebastiano Zecchetto, the dreamy space stocks a selection of Loq's sculptural leather accessories, including its Sol wedges ($350), Pepa heels ($400), Villa block heels ($350), lattice woven Nina sandals ($485), the strappy Dora sandals ($340), the linked leather Gabi bag ($480), and much more.

Also on offer are ceramics by Chilean designer Sandra Zecchetto (the architectural designer's own aunt), while the walls are decorated with paintings by L.A. artist Sara Marlowe Hall.

Loq was founded in 2015 by footwear designers Keren Longkumer and Valerie Quant, who met as students in 2011 at FIDM in Downtown. Longkumer hails from the mountainous region of Nagaland in northeast India, while Quant was bred in L.A.; their label reflects the laid-back cool of California and India's textures and color palette.
