The Hundreds' Family Style Food Fest Is Mashing Up the Coolest Chefs & Streetwear Brands This Month

The all-day event is taking over Television City Studios on Sept. 15.

The streetwear scene is no stranger to cool collaborations (and attracting buzzing lines of superfans), but this next one truly takes the culinary cake. On Sunday, September 15, L.A. lifestyle brand The Hundreds is taking over CBS' Television City Studios with some of the best names in the culinary, street art, design, and music worlds for its first-ever Family Style Food Fest.

Founded by The Hundreds co-founders Ben Shenassafar and Bobby Kim (who's fresh off releasing his first book, This Is Not A T-Shirt) and streetwear insider pal Miles Canares, the DoorDash-sponsored happening is holding court along the L.A. venue's Fairfax Street entrance. The menu will feature grub from over 20 restaurants and food vendors, including Jon & Vinny's, Petit Trois, Katz's Deli, Recreational Use (a new concept by Top Chef winner Michael Voltaggio), Badmaash, Howlin' Rays, AmazeBowls, Burgerlords, Cha Cha Matcha, Crossroads Kitchen, Jeni's Ice Cream, Afters Ice Cream, Cofax, and many, many others.

There'll also be cool mashups between chefs and brands, too, including between The Hundreds and Katz' Deli, Modernica and Uncle Paulie's Deli, Chinatown Market and superstar chef Ludo Lefebvre of Petit Trois, Round Two and Badmaash, and Bricks & Wood and Sweet Chick; others slated to join forces with other participating restos include Madhappy, Japan's Verdy, Carrots, Mr. Cartoon, and Round Two, to name just a few. In addition, there'll be limited-edition collaborations with Homeboy Industries and No Kid Hungry to help support the nonprofit organizations' charitable missions.

On the stage, expect live performances and DJ sets by 143 Soundsystem, Andre Power of Soulection, Them Jeans, Blondie Beach, Alexander Spit, and Emo Nite.

In a statement, Shenassafar and Kim explain: "For 16 years, we have centered our brand on culture and community. And we are constantly reminded that nothing brings people together like great food. As friends and patrons, we've been working with the world's best restaurants and chefs, so putting together a food festival with their support just felt like the next natural step for us."

Dig it? Tickets are $40 for general admission from 1 to 8 p.m. and $120 for VIP entry one hour early; buy them online here.
