In-the-know designer deal hunters (yup, that's you, dear reader) are already well acquainted with 260LA, the New York-bred sample sale gurus who first set up shop in our city two years ago. Now, they're giving Downtown dwellers yet another label-filled retail therapy haven with a pop-up showroom right next door to Grand Central Market. (Post-lunch shopping, anyone?)
Open through the fall/winter season, the 7,000-square-foot space is kicking things off with Herschel Supply Co.'s warehouse sale starting October 1. Similar to the Beverly Hills outpost, the DTLA location will feature weekly events as well as "familiar favorites [and] brand-new designers who harmonize performance with the ebb and flow of the Downtown spirit."
About that Herschel sale: Expect to score deep discounts on the utilitarian-inspired brand's best-selling backpacks (including popular styles such as the America, Classic, Dawson, and Retreat, to name a few), duffel bags, tech accessories, luggage, and small leather goods alongside women's and men's apparel. As far as dates and times, it's going down Tuesday, October 1 (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.), Wednesday, October 2 to Saturday, October 5 (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.), and Sunday, October 6 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
Y-3 Adidas is set to take over the space after Herschel with its first-ever West Coast sale, followed by Rent the Runway.
