Sneakerheads: See Rare Kicks & More at This Epic Exhibit in L.A. Starting Next Month

Sneakertopia is invading Howard Hughes L.A. for three months.

From candy-coated to pizza-obsessed, Los Angeles has had its fair share of pop-up art experiences. Well, here's another one to add to the list — and sneakerheads, this one is for you. Starting Friday, October 25, Sneakertopia is debuting as the first-ever pop-up museum dedicated to all things sneaker culture.

Running through Monday, December 30, the two-month exhibit will be taking over Howard Hughes L.A. in Westchester (formerly The Promenade). The massive installation will take guests through a 15,000-square-foot footwear paradise showcasing colossal collections of rare and custom kicks, exclusive merch drops, and monumental murals featuring out-of-this-world art curated by L.A. creators — think a stage moment with Run DMC, a corner with Marty McFly's hoverboard, and even a a selfie-ready wall with a cartoonified Michael Jordan (see below for a peek).

What's an L.A. pop-up exhibit without pop art — and a gift shop? The museum will feature activations designed by a diverse group of Insta-sneaker influencers and designers, including Adam Fu, Ben Fearnley, James Haunt, Kickstradomis, and many more. Attendees will also have access to an exclusive curated gift shop stocked with limited-edition merch as well as meet-and-greets,

Timed entry admission is $38 for guests 13 and up and $23 for children ages 4 to 12. To take the experience up a notch, Sneakertopia is also offering VIP memberships ($250 to $5,000), which include advanced notice of exclusive drops, meet-and-greets, access to the Kicks After Dark series, and even customized shoes, to name a few perks.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and time slots are expected to go fast — hurry, and buy them online here.
