For ganja enthusiasts, West Hollywood's progressive cannabis consumption ordinance is the gift that keeps on giving. The latest to bring plant-powered shopping and dining to L.A. is Aeon Botanika, a wellness-focused restaurant and retailer that will offer marijuana, massages, and more when it opens in spring 2020.

Founded by licensed integrative dietitian and cannabis activist Nicole Fox and her business partner, Veena Parekh, the 7,000-square-foot space will house a superfood eatery (sans the MJ and open to all ages) and a cannabis café (which will be 21+), with both menus helmed by culinary director Fred Eric of beloved L.A. diner Fred62. Organic and sustainable breakfast, lunch, and dinner fare will be served, while Ritual Coffee Roasters will be responsible for the java offerings. There'll also be a Morrocan lounge where guests can openly enjoy their food, cold-pressed juices and healthy sips, and ethically-sourced herbs (CBD-infused or otherwise, as there'll be plenty of non-cannabis options).

A wellness center will offer acupuncture and massage sessions as well as appointments with licensed integrative dieticians and functional medicine physicians. In addition, expect a full lineup of health-minded events, such as morning meditations, yoga, panel discussions, and community gatherings.

As far as Aeon Botanika's boutique, expect to find the company's own line of home-grown cannabis flowers, micro-dosing goods, and weed-less herbal formulas alongside other "hand-selected products to support health, fitness, and beauty goals."

The stylish MJ mecca will be designed by Ferrier Architecture Studio, while interior designer Keith Greco (who's also a founding partner and designer of dreamy L.A. restos The Little Door and Cliff's Edge) will be decking out the indoor space.
