Fine jewelry lovers will have a new local haven for shopping minimalist-luxe gems. This fall, Los Angeles-based jeweler Grace Lee is bringing her chic stackable accoutrements — which have adorned Michelle Obama, J. Lo, Rachel Evan Wood, and Dua Lipa, among others – to Rose Avenue in Venice by way of her first-ever boutique.

Landing near Parachute and Jeni's Ice Creams, the 1,000-square-foot flagship is slated to open in September or October. Half of the space will be dedicated to retail, and glass folding La Cantina doors will separate the other half that will serve as the designer's headquarters and a custom appointment room. Interior design highlights will include decadent marble walls, custom light wood and glass displays and fixtures, and honeycomb floor tiles.

Lee is known for her bridal jewelry and everyday treasures adorned with conflict-free diamonds and stones, such as 14-karat gold domed rings ($738 and up), Art Deco-inspired beaded stud earrings ($178), resin pendant necklaces and stacking rings accented with diamonds ($108 and up), modern locket necklaces ($388), baroque pearl and gold bangles ($818), and more. She also offers giftable accessories such as silk cord anklets, diamond and gold hair barettes, headbands, pins, and more.

"After starting my jewelry business [in 2008], people would often ask if I had plans to open a retail store and I answered, 'Never!'," Lee says in a statement. She changed her mind two years ago and "intentionally set out to design an atypical retail experience where customers feel like they are at a friend's home sipping tea and trying on a few gems," she adds.
