Pause's Second L.A. Wellness Haven Will Recharge Your Body and Destress Your Mind

The luxe relaxation space has opened in Hollywood's buzzing Media District.

Pause Wellness WeHo

After more than a year of sweatpants-powered quarantining, self-caring, and WFH-ing, you can practically hear L.A.'s collective sigh of relief following much of the promising news. Here to help us indulge in even deeper relaxation and recovery by way of floating, cold plunging, and sweating is Pause, which has opened its new L.A. flagship in the buzzing Media District's Sycamore Avenue.

Mandy Moore and Jules Hough are already fans of the chic and minimalist-cool wellness sanctuary, located on the border of Hollywood and WeHo just steps from cool eateries like Tartine Bakery, Gigi's, and Sight Glass Coffee and near cult-favorite boutique Just One Eye's relocated flagship. Designed by minimalist-cool architectural and interiors firm M+, the 3,600-square-foot space marks the wellness studio's second SoCal location following its debut in Culver City in 2016. (We're told that locations in Santa Monica and Manhattan Beach are next.)

The mind/body recovery-focused menu includes destressing floatation therapy in Superior Float Tanks' egg-like orbs, immune-boosting contrast therapy (a combination of cold plunge and infrared sauna that'll surely please Wim Hof method devotees) restorative cryotherapy, nourishing NAD+ IV and vitamin drip therapy, and more.

The chic space houses three private float rooms, four custom Alpha Wellness saunas made in Belgium from eco-friendly organic wood, and Renu Therapy cold plunge tubs, while the communal post-treatment areas are stocked with Dyson hairdryers. The individual suites feature showers stocked with Le Labo bath products, and guests can wrap themselves in L.A.-based Parachute's lush towels and robes.
