An annual highlight for many Angelenos to kick off the fall season, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic is slated to make its triumphant return Saturday, Oct. 2 at the stunning Will Rogers State Historic Park in the Pacific Palisades. Regularly attended by fashionable celebrities, polo aficionados, and champagne connoisseurs alike, the chic event is noted as a fun day in the sun featuring a thrilling polo match, beautiful backdrops, and of course, plenty of refreshing champagne.

Typically held twice a year (at the beginning of summer in New York City and in the fall in Los Angeles), the bubbly-fueled equine event has become a mainstay for the luxe champagne brand. In previous years, notable L.A. attendees have included the likes of Julia Roberts, Christina Hendricks, Rachel Zoe, Jason Sudekis, Mandy Moore, Kendall Jenner, Justin Hartley, Rosario Dawson, and Rebel Wilson, just to name a few.

This year's match marks the 10th iteration for L.A.. Presale tickets for the ultra exclusive event are slated to go live this Friday, Aug. 6 at 12 p.m. PT, exclusively for American Express card holders, while general ticket sales will begin a week later on Friday, Aug. 13, also at noon.

New to this year's occasion, there are three separate admission offerings, The Picnic Lawn ($110 per ticket), The Rosé Garden ($500 per ticket), and La Grande Dame Cabanas ($1,900 per ticket). Any and all tickets are to be purchased through Universe prior to the event, as third-party tickets will not be honored and there will be not ticket sales on site.

The Picnic Lawn tickets offer general admission to the event with access to the various Veuve Clicquot champagne bars, merchandise tents, interactive games, and gourmet food trucks that will dot the grassy park. Those who opt for the Rosé Garden tickets will be granted access to a plush open lounge with designated picnic areas and colorful photos moments, a stylish merchandise tent, dedicated rosé bars, curated lunches, and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rosé — to enjoy while in the park or to celebrate at a later occasion.

Feeling indulgent? Both Picnic Lawn and Rosé Garden ticket holders will also have the option to upgrade to the Clicquot Sundeck ($800) or the Rosé Sundeck ($1,000), respectively — offering a prime vantage point across the park and reserved lounge seating for up to eight people.

Should a one-of-a-kind experience be more your speed, purchasing access to La Grande Dame Cabanas provides all of the benefits of The Rosé Garden with some added first-class perks. This VIP ticket provides access to exclusive luxury viewing platforms designed for groups of 8 to 12, tasty hours d'oeuvres, individual gourmet meals, and maybe most enticing — a private invitation to a unique champagne-paired dinner to be held the night before the classic.

While excited to return to Los Angeles, the star-studded event is still taking every precaution with regards to the ongoing global pandemic. Strict COVID safety protocols, including the requirement for all attendees to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccinations via the Health Pass app by CLEAR, will be mandated for entry into the venue. As local and national guidelines are continually changing, a final update on safety requirements for all attendees will be relayed closer to the event date, and will be subject to approval by the City of Los Angeles.

Alongside keeping everyone safe, additional rules include an age requirement of 21+ with valid proof of identification, one ticket per guest, and no outside alcohol allowed inside the park. As Veuve Clicquot's delectable champagne will be flowing freely, and parking will be limited with a first-come first-serve basis, ride-sharing to and from the beautiful venue is recommended.
