Drake Night, Venice Winter Fest, Püre Deck the House, and More of L.A.'s Best Holiday Parties You Can't Miss

Mark your cal for these shows, stylish soirées, festivals, and other cool events.

We've rounded up some of L.A.'s best holiday parties happening this week and into the first few days of 2022! Arranged in no particular order, each Christmas- or New Year's Eve-focused event promises to offer a lot more than photo opportunities and pretty lights. From Now Santa Monica's Holiday Mixer to Newport Beach's Christmas Boat Parade to live entertainment that pays homage to Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, we're pretty sure you'll find something that suits your fancy.

Scroll through the list and check back often for updates and additions.

Starting Wednesday, December 15

113th Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade (Newport): A moment of gratitude for living where the weather allows boat rides at night with little more than a hoodie or pullover. We recognize that this list is supposed to include parties and events that offer more than pretty lights, but the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade is special and gets a pass. You'll know why once you see it for yourself. For the last 113 years, our Mediterranean climate has allowed boat owners to deck out their ships in holiday lights and set sail without the hurdle of "real" winter weather. Over 100 decorated yachts and ships parade around a 14-mile circuit in Newport Harbor.
