Streetwear enthusiasts from across the globe will gather at the Long Beach Convention Center to celebrate brand collaborations, hip-hop culture, and now the trendiest food. The Complex Media team crammed various activations and releases into the two-day event, including a 100+ brands marketplace, a headlining performance from NIGO® and special guests, and the inaugural Eat Your Feed Fest.
With Buzzfeed's acquisition of the entertainment company, the festival of cultural convergence will now feature a culinary experience brought to you by First We Feast and Tasty. The first of its kind, Eat Your Feed Fest will offer fans the opportunity to meet their favorite creators, discover what is next in food, and taste the internet's trendiest bites. In partnership with Long Beach and Los Angeles-based restaurants, upcoming chefs will create exclusive menu items served throughout the festival.
"We are excited to announce the line-up for the first-ever Eat Your Feed Fest," said Chris Schonberger, GM of First We Feast. "When Tasty and First We Feast started building this festival, we set our goal on delivering an immersive two-day experience that allowed both brands to bring their most coveted shows to life. First We Feast is bringing its slate of shows, our high-energy hosts and chefs along with a highly curated selection of different culinary perspectives that highlight the diversity of the Los Angeles County food spectrum to Long Beach, CA. We are breaking phone screens and pulling our audience into our food universe for what will surely be a memorable and filling experience."
Creators participating in the culinary brands' collaboration are Sean Evans, George Motz, Jasmine Pak, and Twaydabae, just to name a few. Fans can also enjoy delicious bites from local favorites, such as Broad Street Oyster Co., Holy Basil, Slab BBQ, and more. They can also participate in taste tests and live cooking challenges.
While our mouths are watering for this appetizing lineup, we can't forget the wide-ranging shopping, music, and digital art activations. Another first-time for the fest, producer NIGO® will be performing his "I Know NIGO®" album. This will also mark as the first-ever live performance of this star-studded project. Joining the legendary DJ is Lil Uzi Vert, Pusha T, Clipse, Kodak Black, Teriyaki Boyz, and more. Guests can also expect daytime DJ sets from Donavan's Yard and Soulection.
Hosting the cultural convention is Japanese graphic artist Verdy. Fans will recognize his projects including Girls Don't Cry and Wasted Youth. This year's Marketplace will feature Human Made, Awake NY, Billionaire Boys Club, Carrots, and more. Shop surprise drops, rare collabs, and exclusive sneakers. The convention will also have special panels that taps into music and fashion such as "Sneaker of the Year" and "20 Years of Lord Willin' With Clipse."
